Throughout his life Christian Dior had a passion for roses. From the moment his parents moved into the “Villa Les Rhumbs” until the day of his passing, it influenced much of his work.
Taking note, for summer 2010 the fashion house of Christian Dior has released two jewellery collection inspired by the designer’s favourite flower.  The Bois de Rose collection is devoted to the stem rather than the actual flower and features diamond embellishments on top of yellow and white gold stems.Meanwhile the Rose Dior Pre Catelan collection makes coral its defining embellishment. Diamonds of various sizes are set against brilliant coral and yellow golds to create a natural and organic feeling jewellery collection.

These unusual frog earrings are handcrafted from white gold, the frogs are encrusted with diamonds. The tip of each earring features a round peridot and a large teardrop peridot is suspended from each striking piece.
