Maybelline,Colorbar,Revlon,NYX,Tips&Toes Updates,Launches-Bangalore

Here are some beauty updates from Maybelline, Revlon, RevAyur, Tips and Toes etc in Bangalore. These were spotted on my recent visits to Health n Glow and Empire Stores.

Maybelline Dream Glow Bronzer
A creamy and shimmery bronzer. This little tube stood on a shelf behind the billing counter. Spotted it as I was leaving the store. When asked, the SA told me that it was a new “Foundation” from Maybelline and how could I leave without swatching it?? And she was more than happy to help. She took a little from the tube and blended it on my hand..It was quite smooth and blended well and gave a very shimmery bronze effect. With a major shock, I realised that it was a bronzer and not a foundation. When I told her that, she agreed..LOL
There was only one shade available in the store and the staff were ignorant about any other shades or variations 😦
Price – Approximately INR 460

Maybelline Vivid and Smooth Liner-Smokey Grey

The creamy eye liner pencils from Colorbar were first in my must buy list after reading rave reviews and seeing lovely swatch pictures. I wanted to buy them during my latest shopping trip, but alas the Health and Glow outlet did not have a Colorbar counter. But the friendly and helpful SA wanted me to try the ones newly launched by Maybelline.

The Vivid and Smooth Eye Pencil from the Eyestudio range.

I tried all the colours and wanted to buy one and use before committing to get the whole lot. It is a very smooth and creamy liner which glides easily across my lids. The colour is buildable and can also be spread to use as a base. Application is a breeze unlike the Lakme Eye pencils.

The top line is a single swipe of the colour and the bottom one was blended like a shadow. The colour is a little more darker in real. Staying power is good and it doesn’t smudge after a few minutes. Can be removed easily with Olive Oil/Makeup Remover.
I am definitely planning to buy more colours of this liner. A slight disappointment is that I did not find any shade in Brown, Purple, Mauve etc.
