Faces Eyeshadow in Bridal Red(03)-Swatches, Mini Review

I have been buying products from the brand Faces Canada for quite sometime now…In fact, ever since it launched in India.

One of the recent beauties I got from Faces is the Bridal Red Eyeshadow. I got this along with the Smokey Eye Kit and some other bath accessories from Fashion You.

To be honest, I ordered this particular product on an impulse…When I opened the package, It was quite a shock..Wondered if I REALLY needed a RED eyeshadow..But then again, the adventure streak in me dominated 🙂

Then the swatch happened

There was a huge sigh of relief. The shade is actually not as scary as it looks. Its a slightly shimmery deep maroonish-red. Aptly named as bridal red, it is perfect as a part of an Indian bride’s makeup kit. I paired it with black and it was beautiful!!

First Impression

1) The texture is smooth and blendable.
2) Wearable shade – especially for Indian skin tones.
3) Shimmer is subtle, not chunky.
4) Colour payoff is quite good and the staying power is high.
5) The container comes with a nice mirror.

Comes in a sturdy, black round container, which clicks shut securely.

What is not impressive

1) Availability  – The brand is yet to be commonly available in India.
2) No applicator

Price – INR 299/- I think..Do not remember the exact amount as I purchased many things together.

Repurchase – Yes..But maybe some other shades as this is gonna last me for a long time.
